Holistic Nutrition Coaching That Actually Sticks
Most people already know what they should eat. Knowing it has never been the hard part. Doing it consistently, in a real life with real stress and a real schedule, is the part that breaks. That is what this coaching is built for. Dr. Bruce is a Precision Nutrition certified coach who works on the habits and the relationship with food, not just the food itself.
Why most nutrition advice fails
It is not that the advice is wrong. It is that it ignores you. A plan that assumes a quiet life, a flexible schedule, and unlimited willpower will collapse the first hard week. Dr. Bruce coaches the opposite way. He starts from the life you actually have, then changes one or two things at a time, in an order you can sustain. Small, steady, repeatable. That is what compounds.
A habit-first, relationship-first approach
Food carries a lot for most of us: comfort, stress relief, reward, routine. Pretending it is only fuel does not work. Coaching with Dr. Bruce looks at how you eat and why, not just what, so the changes hold up when life gets loud. The aim is a calmer, steadier relationship with food that does not run your day.
Who it is for
- People who are tired of starting over every Monday and want something that lasts
- Anyone whose energy, weight, or blood sugar would benefit from steadier eating
- Women working through hormone changes who need nutrition that fits the season they are in
- Busy people who do not have the bandwidth for a complicated plan and need it to be simple
How it fits with the rest of the practice
Nutrition rarely stands alone. For many clients it sits inside the broader functional wellness work, or inside the hormone health program for women 40 and up. Because it is all one practice, your nutrition coaching lines up with everything else you are working on rather than pulling in a different direction.
The process
1. Where you are now
We start with an honest look at how you eat and live today, with no judgment attached. You cannot build a plan that fits without knowing the starting point.
2. The next right change
Dr. Bruce picks the one or two changes likely to move the needle most, and helps you put them in place. Once those stick, we add the next.
3. Steady progress
Over time the habits stack up into a way of eating that feels normal, not effortful. That is the goal: not a diet you survive, but a default you keep.
Common questions
Is this a meal plan or a diet?+
Neither, really. Meal plans end the day you stop following them. The coaching builds habits and skills that stay with you, so you are not dependent on a sheet of paper. We work with your real life and your real preferences.
What makes this holistic?+
We do not look at food in a vacuum. Sleep, stress, movement, and your relationship with eating all shape what works for you. Dr. Bruce coaches the whole picture rather than just handing you a calorie target.
What are Dr. Bruce's nutrition credentials?+
Dr. Bruce is a Certified Nutrition Coach through Precision Nutrition, holds a Ph.D. in Natural Medicine, and spent years educating other professionals in functional nutrition. He has also served as a Regional Nutrition Program Coordinator.
Can we do this online?+
Yes. Nutrition coaching works well virtually. You meet with Dr. Bruce by video and check in between sessions, from wherever you are.
